how you can help
Donate
Your donation to the Pharmacy Benevolent Fund Company Limited by Guarantee helps improve the lives of individuals and families associated with the pharmaceutical profession in need. It provides once-off grants, extra financial assistance, support with social welfare entitlements, arranging care services, and referrals to specialised services. Your contribution makes a direct impact in offering tailored support and extending a helping hand during difficult times.-
HOW YOU CAN HELP
There are many ways that You can help
Make A Donation
We rely on your generosity to continue to provide our services and to help more people in need. Whichever route you choose and no matter how large or small your donation, it will make a real difference to the lives of our beneficiaries in times of need.
To make a once off donation or arrange an event to raise money for the fund click on the DONATE NOW button bellow.
Alternatively, donations are needed and can be made to:
Bank of Ireland
IBAN: IE69 BOFI 9009 7387 6823 65
Account Name: Pharmacy Benevolent Fund
Donations can also be made by clicking the link to the Pharmacy Benevolent Fund immediately after renewing annual registration on the PSI website.
Fundraising
We would love individual pharmacists to take on the Pharmacy Benevolent Fund as their charity. If you are taking part in a cycle or a marathon, make the fund your charity. As we are so isolated as a profession, we love a good get together, so why not organise a dinner or a barbeque in aid of the fund. If you are asked to speak to a community group, ask them to make a donation to the fund in return.

Volunteer
The Pharmacy Benevolent Fund would not function without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. Pharmacists are a multitalented bunch, and anyone who has the time or skills to help will not be met with a closed door. If you can only give an hour, we will happily take that!
Ways to help include:
- Writing an article.
- Hosting an event.
- Taking photographs at an event.
- Helping with administration.
- Helping with web management.
- Securing of sponsors / Prizes.
- Join the committee
- Sign up to be a Pharmacy Friend
- Volunteer for visits
Will Bequest
Family and friends are of course the people at the front of your mind when it comes to writing a will, but that does not mean you cannot also leave a gift to a charity close to your heart.
Leaving a legacy is straightforward and can be done with the help of a solicitor.
In Memory
Making a donation in memory of a friend or relative is a unique and positive way to remember someone close to you. It can provide great comfort at a time of loss, and become a positive way to celebrate the life of a loved one while supporting a charity they cared about and a profession of which they were proud.
When someone dies, people often give flowers, but many families and friends suggest that donations in memory be sent to a charity he or she supported during their life.
Christmas Donations
Christmas is a time of great need for many of the Pharmacy Benevolent Fund’s beneficiaries. Charitable individuals and companies can choose to make a donation to the Pharmacy Benevolent Fund in lieu of sending Christmas cards or gifts. This is a great way of providing more lasting benefit from Christmas goodwill and a donation would mean so much to the beneficiaries.
Thank You
